Bryan Farthing, PA-C

Bryan Farthing started his medical career off as a cardiopulmonary technician in the United States Air Force in 2004 where he trained as a respiratory therapist focusing on critical care air transport and had the privilege of deploying to Afghanistan in 2008. After getting out of the Air Force he worked as a respiratory therapist while at the same time pursuing his goals to become a PA. He graduated from the University of Washington MEDEX PA program in 2013. He completed his Master of Science with a focus in healthcare administration from Stony Brook University in 2015 and finished his Doctor of Health Science with a focus in global health specifically looking at disparities in pediatric asthmatics in 2019. 

In addition to his work at the AAIC he is on faculty with the University of Washington MEDEX PA program, Idaho State University PA program and is an Officer in the Alaska Air National Guard. Bryan is a national speaker on asthma and allergic disease. He is passionate about pollen and is one of our esteemed Pollen Hunters collecting, counting, and communicating pollen counts to Alaskans during the Spring, Summer and Fall. He enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, and spending as much time as possible with his wife and two sons in the beautiful Alaskan back country.
