Paula Baker, CPNP
Paula Baker, CPNP, earned her graduate degree from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas. She is a board certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP), and is an expert in the care of children from birth to young adults up to 21 years of age. CPNPs must pass a rigorous national board exam and then demonstrate continued learning every year. Mrs. Baker has over twenty years of experience in the field of Pediatrics. She spent more than fifteen years caring for ill and injured children in the acute care setting, including pediatrics, emergency room, newborn nursery and teaching emergency pediatric resuscitation before practicing in the outpatient setting.
In 2015, Mrs. Baker and her spouse moved to Alaska, with their two children, to follow a lifelong dream. Mrs. Baker has a passion for art and enjoys painting murals and canvas’. She appreciates spending much of her free time with her children and husband outdoors; hiking, fishing, skiing, snow machining and camping. They love getting away to their remote family cabin to enjoy a beautiful view of Denali.
