Melinda M. Rathkopf, MD
Board Certified in Allergy/Immunology and specialized in Pediatrics.
Dr. Rathkopf is the Director of the Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Center of Alaska. She earned her medical degree at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. She then entered the U.S. Air Force, completing her pediatric residency training at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, MS. She practiced general pediatrics for two years prior to her Allergy and Immunology fellowship training at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. She served nine years as an Air Force physician prior to joining the Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Center of Alaska. She has been practicing in Anchorage since July of 2006. Additionally, Dr. Rathkopf currently serves as the chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Providence AK Medical Center and is the past president of the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, AK chapter.
