Kristina M. Waring, M.A. CCC-SPL
Kristina received her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology in May of 2004 from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley, CO and her bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology in May 1997 from Idaho State University, Pocatello, ID. She is a locally and national certified pathologist with over 20 years experience working in the field. Although she began her career as a middle school SLP and coach, working for the Idaho School for the Deaf and Blind, she has created a specialty clinic which focuses on the assessment and treatment of organic and functional voice disorders for children and adults. Her private practice has been housed within the Allergy Asthma Immunology Center of Alaska since 2005. Since then she has curated a voice program specific to the treatment of Vocal Cord Dysfunction (Paradoxical Vocal Fold Movement Disorder) and idiopathic Chronic Cough. She moved to Alaska in 2000 and currently resides in Anchorage with her husband and two children. She loves all things snow and enjoys spending as much of her time with her family in Girdwood.
